On the south, the bay Chelatros is ideal for those wishing to swim in the clear sea. The captain mansions are impressive, while in the settlements, the houses are whitewashed and the narrow streets are paved. Growing interest show the pastoral houses, "Mitata", carrying a long tradition of pastoral life. Many of them, particularly in areas Eleros, Troules, Xadies, Skafi, Maritsa are wonderfully preserved.
